The movie "Lincoln" did a completely inaccurate portrayal of Robert Lincoln and his relationship with his father. Perhaps if the actor had done significant research, he could have created a more genuine character. A lesson to all: Don't be lazy, don't rely on other to do your work for you. At a minimum, the actor should have read the 2 biographies on Robert Lincoln: "A Man in his own Right" by Goff (which is a short, easy read) and "Giant in the Shadows" by Emerson (a very well written book that is difficult to put down).
